If you’ve listened to the Stern Truth podcast before, you’ve likely heard a Business Therapy Thursday episode before. Every single person that’s been on a Business Therapy session has found it useful.
I’m not tooting my own horn; I’m sharing how helpful these one-on-one sessions, coach to business owner, can really be.
I’ll explain all about “Business Therapy” – what it is, how it can help, and (maybe the most exciting) how you can participate in it.
What is Business Therapy?
Business Therapy started from a deep coaching session I had with a client months ago. We were in the session, and she said to me, “Marshall, this has been amazing. This feels like Business Therapy and not just coaching.”
I sat with what she said, and I thought more about it. My style of coaching really leans towards talking things through, getting to the root of issues. It made sense. And it made the Business Therapy sessions a reality.
How Business Therapy Helps You
We get stuck in our own beliefs. We get stuck in our own heads. You don’t have to be a business owner to know this. Sometimes it takes guidance and support from someone else to really think outside of our ways.
It can be anyone, like a therapist, a coach, other entrepreneurs, a Facebook group, anyone that can keep you accountable in your business. Ultimately, it’s that much-needed support when you try something new in your small business.
Business Therapy gives you that opportunity to better understand and even transform your business. It’s a push forward when you feel stuck or unclear about your business challenges. These sessions help you get back to your “why” and get the passion back in your business.
Session Style
Coming back for a second to my coaching style – I focus a lot on the processes and systems and structure. But I like to mix that with the “therapy” style of coaching to give a well-rounded coaching experience for business owners.
You won’t always know to ask yourself the hard questions. You won’t always know if the information you find is helpful or not, especially if you’re a one-person show. This is why I always like the Business Therapy sessions – they get down to the Stern Truth behind your business.
Take Part in a Session
If you’re interested in a Business Therapy session, send an email to marshall@marshallstern.net with the subject line “Business Therapy.” Let me know if you’d like to be on an episode of the Stern Truth podcast (no pressure).
I’ll be honest, these sessions are not easy, and they’re not for everyone. But if you want to try one for yourself, the invitation is always open.
